The engine is engineered with twin-scroll turbocharger to maximize pulse energy to the turbine wheel. The Ranger’s engine direct-injection system and Auto Start-Stop Technology has worked to earn it the title “Most Fuel Efficient Gas-Powered Midsize Pickup in America”.

Designed for superior off-road capability, the backbone of the 2019 Ranger is made of a fully boxed, steel frame with six crossmembers, steel bumpers, and frame mounted tow hooks.
