- Pressure Testing: Heads are pressure tested at 30 PSI; fuel rails are pressure tested at 70 PSI
- Rocker Box: The aluminum rocker box, bolted to the top of the head, may vary by the number of bolts. The dealer recommends not using any bolts to avoid improper torque from the head to the block. Our heads will work perfectly even if the bolt hole count differs.

Easy Core Return Process
We provide a hassle-free core return process with no upfront core charge. You have 30 days to return the core. Here’s how it works:
- Prepaid Shipping Label: A prepaid FEDEX return label is included with your shipment.
- Easy Return: Place your core head in the original box, attach the prepaid label, and drop it off at any FEDEX location.
We accept all cores, regardless of condition, as long as all parts are included. No extra charges for damaged heads, bent valves, or disassembled parts.
Warranty Information
Clearwater Cylinder Head, Inc. offers a two-year unlimited mileage warranty. A copy of the warranty card will be included with your invoice. Please read the warranty terms carefully:
- Warranty Acceptance: Acceptance of the head implies acceptance of the warranty.
- Heat Tab: Must be intact and unaltered.
- Claim Process: Claims must be returned for inspection with the invoice and Return Authorization number.
- Single Warranty: Only one warranty per purchase.
- Warranty Start Date: Warranty begins from the purchase date.
- Limitations: No coverage for incidental, consequential, punitive, or over-the-road damages.
Warranty Covers:
- Parts Warranty Only: All original cylinder heads must be returned for warranty.
Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Damage from improper installation, overheating, abuse, or neglect.
- Loss of time, vehicle use, phone calls, or inconvenience.
