This is a new aftermarket cylinder head for the Sprinter Diesel 2.7 DOHC 5 Cylinder engine, featuring valves and springs only. It fits the following models:
- 2003-2008 Chrysler Diesel 2.7
- 2003-2008 Mercedes Benz Freightliner 2500/3500
Note: This cylinder head comes with valves and springs only. You must install your own cams.

- Precision seat and guide work using state-of-the-art Serdi or Sunnen machines
- Resurfacing with a Rottler CBN machine for the required RMA finish
- Installation of quality valve seals and vacuum testing for a perfect seal

Core Return Process
Our core return process is simple:
- No up-front core charge
- 30-day period to return the core
- Prepaid FedEx return shipping label provided
- Place your old cylinder head in the box you received and attach the prepaid label
- Hand the box to any FedEx driver or take it to a FedEx pickup point
We accept old cylinder heads regardless of condition, as long as all parts are included.
Warranty Information
Odessa Cylinder Head, Inc. offers a two-year unlimited mileage warranty on our cylinder heads. A warranty card is included with your invoice. For warranty claims, contact us for a Return Authorization number.
Please note: No cam seals have been installed on overhead cam cylinder heads, as one comes in your gasket set that you purchase.
Warranty Details
- Acceptance of this head constitutes acceptance of this warranty.
- Heat tab must be in place on the head, not altered or melted.
- Any claim must be returned to Odessa Cylinder Head for inspection. A copy of the invoice must accompany the head. A Return Authorization number must be obtained.
- Only one (1) warranty per purchase.
- Warranty begins at the date of purchase.
- No incidental, consequential, punitive, or over-the-road damages.
Warranty Covers:
- Parts warranty only – Odessa Cylinder Head warrants its fully reconditioned cylinder heads from all defects in materials and will replace or repair the defective parts in the head for a period of two years, labor excluded. All original cylinder heads must be returned for warranty.
Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation, accidental overheating, abuse, or neglect.
- Loss of time, use of vehicle, phone calls, inconvenience, or consequential charges.
- Fluids, tow charges, rentals, or diagnosis.
- Repairs made without prior authorization will void all warranties.
- No warranty on commercial, industrial racing/pro stock, or marine use.
