The Honda Civic is one of the most popular compact car models in America. The Civic is known for its reliability, excellent performance, ample cargo room, and fuel-efficiency. The first Civic was introduced on July 11th, 1972 as a subcompact car. After some exterior and interior changes, additional space was added to the car moving it into the compact car segment in 2000 (most notably with the release of its seventh generation).
